The Festool Platin 2 STF D150 S500 sanding discs (item number 492369) are the specialists for extremely fine preparatory sanding, matting high-gloss lacquers, and working with mineral-based materials and plastics. Fitted with an elastic foam backing, the sanding disc adapts perfectly to contours, curves and radii. The open-pored structure ensures excellent water and dust absorption during wet and dry sanding, prevents the abrasive from clogging and enables an extremely even sanding finish without oversanding at the edges.

Instructions for use
Press the sanding disc onto the centre of the StickFix sanding pad of your 150 mm random-orbit sander. The S500 grit is ideal as the first step in the fine-sanding and polishing process. Use the disc dry or slightly dampened to matt clear coats before final polishing or to gently remove imperfections without leaving deeper scratches.
