Clear lacquers for outdoor use
Clear lacquers are the first choice when outdoor wood needs to retain its natural grain but at the same time be reliably protected. Our clear coats, which are especially suitable for outdoor use, not only offer weather resistance, but also a long-lasting protective film against UV radiation, moisture and mechanical stress.
Typical areas of application for our clear coats:
- Garden furniture, window frames and doors made of wood
- covered surfaces such as canopies, carports or fences
- For new sealing and refreshing existing paintwork
Some of our products are also block-resistant and quick-drying - ideal for projects with short processing times. UV-resistant variants that significantly delay the yellowing of the wood are particularly popular.
ADLER Aquawood End Grain Sealer
Effective end grain protection for wooden windows and front doors ADLER Aquawood Endgrain Sealer is a specially developed, water-based end grain protection for wooden windows and front doors in outdoor areas. It provides targeted protection for particularly absorbent end grain surfaces and plays a key role in extending the service life of wooden components. ADLER Lignovit Primo

Glossy, solvent-based synthetic resin topcoat for interior and exterior use on wood and metal for DIY and commercial applications High-quality, solvent-based synthetic resin topcoat with universal application possibilities. The paint complies with the requirements of the VOC Decopaint 2010 guideline and offers excellent protection against weathering and long-lasting colour stability without yellowing. Thanks to its fast-drying formula, the varnish can be applied quickly. It impresses with its good scratch resistance, strong covering power and rich filling capacity. The application pattern is characterised by an even finish and very good resistance to running and splashing, which makes it easier to achieve a clean finish. The product contains no biocidal active ingredients to protect against blue stain and wood-destroying fungi. This clear varnish is particularly suitable as a spray varnish for front doors with opaque and glazed finishes. It is available in two different gloss levels: satin matt (G30 53215) and gloss (G90 53216).
