OSMO Hardwax Oil Original 3032 Colourless Silk Matt
Oil & wax in one – extremely durable wood protection, open-pored & water-repellent Osmo Hardwax Oil Original Colourless combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one coat: It protects wooden surfaces, making them water-repellent, dirt-resistant and abrasion-resistant – while also ensuring a non-slip, open-pored surface that preserves the character of the wood. The formula, based on vegetable oils, supports an even coat. Particularly practical: can be applied without primer – saving time. Important: oils enhance the wood tone (permanent wet effect). Advantages at a glance Water-repellent & hard-wearing (for heavily used surfaces) Open-pored – does not crack, flake or peel Uniform result thanks to vegetable ingredients Easy to apply without primer, usually without intermediate sanding Saliva and sweat resistant (DIN 53160) and suitable for children's toys (EN 71-3) Areas of application Ideal for wooden floors and furniture surfaces, e.g. : Solid wood floorboards, country house floorboards, ship deck flooring OSB and cork flooring Furniture and interior wood surfaces Application The substrate must be clean, dry and frost-free (max. 18% wood moisture). Stir the product thoroughly, do not dilute. Apply thinly in the direction of the wood grain (brush/flat brush/roller/pad) and spread well. Drying time: approx. 8–10 hours with good ventilation. Apply a second coat thinly as well. When renovating oiled surfaces, one coat is often sufficient. Sanding recommendation: Floors P120–150, furniture P180–240. Yield/consumption approx. 24 m² per litre with one coat (smooth, sanded surfaces; depending on the wood). Ingredients Vegetable oils (including sunflower, soybean and safflower oil) and waxes; contains white spirit (dearomatised, benzene-free), among other ingredients.
