Oil & wax in one – extremely durable wood protection, open-pored & water-repellent Osmo Hardwax Oil Original Colourless combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one coat: It protects wooden surfaces, making them water-repellent, dirt-resistant and abrasion-resistant – while also ensuring a non-slip, open-pored surface that preserves the character of the wood. The formula, based on vegetable oils, supports an even coat. Particularly practical: can be applied without primer – saving time. Important: oils enhance the wood tone (permanent wet effect). Stir the product thoroughly, do not dilute. Apply thinly in the direction of the wood grain (brush/flat brush/roller/pad) and spread well. Drying time: approx. 8–10 hours with good ventilation. Apply a second coat thinly as well. When renovating oiled surfaces, one coat is often sufficient. Sanding recommendation: Floors P120–150, furniture P180–240. Yield/consumption approx. 24 m² per litre with one coat (smooth, sanded surfaces; depending on the wood). Ingredients Vegetable oils (including sunflower, soybean and safflower oil) and waxes; contains white spirit (dearomatised, benzene-free), among other ingredients.
