Kaurit Glue 122 Powder is used without further stretching after mixing with water for surface bonding using the hot process.
The gluing strengths fulfil the requirements of:
EN 636 - 1 for service class 1
DIN EN 12765 stress group C2
DIN 68705 Part 2 (1981) IF
If processed correctly and the corresponding
carrier material is used, the veneered parts fulfil the requirements of
ChemVerbotsV 1 Annex, Section 1. 3.
Chemical characterisation Powdery, ready-made urea-formaldehyde
condensation product.
Application
The veneer glue is mixed in a ratio of 100 wtTle. Glue powder : 100 tsp. Water (20 °C) or 3 litres of glue powder : 2 litres of water (20 °C).
The glue powder is first stirred in two thirds of the water without lumps and then the remaining water is added.
After approx. 20 minutes maturing time, the mixture is stirred again and is then ready for use.
