3M™ Lub-P Cable Lubricant (0.95 l) – The high-performance lubricant for pulling heavy cables 3M™ Lub-P Cable Lubricant is the professional solution for the effortless and safe pulling of heavy cables and wires in electrical and network installations. With its special, paste-like consistency, this high-performance lubricant drastically reduces friction during cable pulling. This not only protects the cable sheaths from mechanical damage, but also preserves the pulling tools and saves valuable working time. Supplied in a practical 0.95-litre bottle (item number: Lub-P0.95), it is perfectly portionable and ideally suited for daily use on construction sites. Maximum protection for cables and wires Unlike conventional lubricants, 3M Lub-P is based on a water-soluble polymer formulation that **neither sticks nor dries out** or leaves unpleasant residues. It does not attack common cable sheathing materials such as polyethylene (PE) or PVC and retains its extremely high lubricity even under high mechanical stress within the pipe. It is also temperature-stable and can be applied cleanly and precisely even under difficult environmental conditions. Your benefits with 3M Lub-P at a glance Minimal friction Minimises frictional resistance when pulling heavy underground cables and lines. Gentle on materials No chemical damage or embrittlement of plastic cable sheaths (PVC, PE, etc.). No sticking Dries to a thin, non-sticky film. Subsequent removal or re-pulling remains possible without any problems. Main areas of application Heavy-duty cable pulling : Ideal for power cables, underground cables, high-voltage lines and thick cable bundles in civil engineering and industry. Long-distance pulling : Perfect for long distances and tight pipe bends where conventional pulling aids fail. Telecommunications & data technology : Suitable for pulling thicker copper and telecommunications cables into underfloor systems. Technical Details & Identification : Contents : 0.95 litres (handy dispenser bottle) Manufacturer’s item number : Lub-P0.95 3M product number : Lub-P0.95 3M ID : 7100037104 UPC / EAN : 03134375312806 Consistency : Paste-like / viscous (does not run uncontrollably) Properties : Water-soluble, easily washable, non-flammable Expert tip for smooth pulling For best results, apply 3M™ Lub-P cable lubricant directly at the pull-in point to both the cable sheath and the inside of the conduit. Thanks to its paste-like consistency, the lubricant adheres excellently to the cable and is not simply wiped off at the pipe entrance. Should you make a mistake: as the formula is water-soluble, any residue on hands, clothing and tools can be easily washed off with clean water, leaving no residue. Safety note: Store in a frost-free place. Please refer to the relevant safety data sheets from the manufacturer 3M before use in industrial applications.
