The Festool ERSC 18 EB-Basic cordless sabre saw is a powerful and handy solution for quick cutting and trimming jobs on site. Thanks to its compact design, the 18 V sabre saw can be manoeuvred safely even in tight or hard-to-reach places. The powerful EC-TEC motor ensures reliable cutting progress through wood, plastic, metal and various building materials.
Versatile, controlled and comfortable
The throttle switch allows the stroke rate to be continuously adjusted from 0 to 3,000 min⁻¹ and optimally adapted to the material being cut. The special chuck enables quick saw blade changes, with the blade being ejected automatically when the chuck is opened.
For work close to edges, the saw blade can be rotated through 180°. This enables cuts to be made close to walls, floors or ceilings. The integrated LED further improves visibility of the working area.
Typical applications
The ERSC 18 is ideal for renovation and demolition work, cutting square timber and roof battens to length, cutting out door frames, and cutting metal and plastic pipes. A tool-free extraction system helps to minimise dust during work.
