Rubio MONOCOAT Hybrid Wood Protector is a wood preservative for new and weathered wood. It protects the wood against weathering and discolouration. Colour refreshment and wood protection is possible with just one product, which is very easy to use and does not require sanding.
Application areas/suitability
Rubio MONOCOAT Hybrid Wood Protector can be used universally on all types of wood, both indoors and outdoors. Externally, this includes new or weathered wood on façades, terraces, garden furniture, carports etc..
Result
The single application achieves a particularly even result. There is no film formation and no flaking.
Colour shade
The desired colour can be selected from classic shades as well as from the vibrant pop colours.
Ingredients
Environmentally friendly: The colour oil is completely VOC- and solvent-free and therefore protects the environment as well as your health!
Application
Application is carried out in three simple steps:
1.) Preparation
- Soak the wood and clean with RMC Exterior Cleaner.
2.) Apply oil
- Apply a thin layer of RMC Hybrid Wood Protector with a flat brush.
- Leave to act for 10 minutes
- Smooth the surface without product
3.) Remove excess
- Rub off excess product after 5 minutes
Post-treatment
Treated wood can be used after 48 hours. RMC Exterior Soap is recommended for maintenance and RMC Hybrid Wood Protector for renewal.
Requirements
As only one coat of oil needs to be applied, handling the oil is particularly easy and user-friendly. The special molecular bonding technology prevents streaks and film formation, as well as overlapping and build-up, thus ensuring optimum results with minimal effort. This makes the product suitable for every DIY enthusiast!
The product can be applied using a polishing machine, manually or industrially.
Consumption
As only one coat of RMC Hybrid Wood Protector is required, consumption is extremely low. One litre can treat 30m² outdoors and 50m² indoors.
Tools & accessories
The oil can be applied with a flat brush or decking brush and removed with a simple cotton cloth. Tools are cleaned with RMC Cleaner.
