3M™ Hookit™ Flexible Fine Sanding Discs – Conforms perfectly to any shape The 3M™ Hookit™ Flexible Fine Sanding Discs are the secret weapon for challenging surfaces. Where conventional abrasives are rigid and tend to cut through edges too quickly, this disc truly shines. It combines the speed of a traditional abrasive with the flexibility of a soft finishing material. The result: an extremely consistent finish, even on complex components. Maximum safety on edges, recesses, and curves Modern vehicle designs are full of challenges: deep recesses, tight curves, and sharp edges. Thanks to its highly flexible backing material, the 3M™ Fine Sanding Disc moulds itself to every contour like a second skin. It distributes pressure optimally, effectively preventing you from sanding through the paint on raised areas. With grades ranging from P600 to P2000, you have the perfect disc for every stage – from scuffing to high-end polishing. Why this disc makes the difference Extremely Conforming Follows every curve and recess. Ideal for bumpers, mirror caps, and door sills. Perfect Finish Produces an extremely fine surface finish that is significantly quicker and easier to polish to a high shine afterwards. Clean Working The multi-hole perforation extracts dust directly. This keeps the disc sharp for longer and the workspace clean. Available variants: P600 | P800 | P1000 | P1200 | P1500 | P2000 Applications and Grit Guide Whether you’re sanding wet or dry – these discs are universally applicable: P600 - P800: Perfect for scuffing old paintwork and preparing surfaces for the base coat. P1000 - P1200: Ideal for blending transitions and gentle matting prior to clear coat application. P1500 - P2000: The professional solution for removing fine dust inclusions and preparing for high-gloss polishing. The benefits at a glance: No kinking: The material remains flexible but does not tear or crease. Hookit™ system: Secure hold on the backing pad and grit changes in seconds. Enormous time savings: Significantly reduces the need for manual hand-sanding on corners and edges. Versatile: Optimised for modern clear coat systems and plastic surfaces. Professional tip for use To maximise the disc’s service life, clean it regularly during use with compressed air or a damp cloth. When working on highly curved surfaces, using a soft interface pad is recommended to distribute pressure even more gently and achieve a flawless, cloud-free finish. Note: These discs are designed for 150mm random orbital sanders, but they are also excellent for hand-held use for detailed touch-ups.

Inhalt50 Schleifscheiben
