Mirka ABRANET ® 150 mm Grip sanding discs are the undisputed industry standard for modern, dust-free work on large surfaces. Thanks to the patented mesh structure with thousands of tiny holes, the sanding dust is extracted directly where it is produced – across the entire surface of the disc. This ensures clean air in the workshop, a clear view of the workpiece and prevents the dreaded clogging of the abrasive (‘pill formation’). With its classic 150 mm diameter, this sanding mesh is the perfect fit for all standard random-orbit sanders in professional use.
Maximum cost-effectiveness thanks to extremely long service life
The tear-resistant polyamide fabric and high-quality aluminium oxide grit guarantee aggressive material removal whilst delivering an extremely fine finish. As dust particles are removed immediately, the grit remains razor-sharp. The result: Abranet achieves a service life up to four times longer than conventional sandpaper. Thanks to the clever hook-and-loop system (Grip), there is also no need for the tedious alignment of the extraction holes when changing discs – simply place it on, press firmly and get started dust-free.

Expert tip for maximum disc life
As mesh abrasives are, by design, permeable to frictional heat, we always recommend using a suitable Mirka protective pad (Pad Saver) when using them on a random orbital sander. This protects the fine hook-and-loop fasteners on your expensive sanding pad from wear and heat. You should also always use Abranet with active extraction: the air flow cools the abrasive further and ensures the usual perfect, dust-free finish.
Application note: Optimised for dry sanding in continuous commercial and industrial use.
