The Lamello® Tenso P-14 with pre-tensioning clip combines the tried-and-tested, self-tensioning function of the P-System glue joint connector with an innovative aid: the integrated pre-tensioning clip mechanically pre-tensions the connector’s tongue even before the pieces are joined. This drastically reduces the force required to fit the workpieces together. This advantage is particularly beneficial when assembling large furniture carcasses, complex components or when a large number of connectors need to be fitted simultaneously.
Used with panel thicknesses from 15 mm (flush) or from 18 mm (mitre), the Tenso P-14 locks into the P-System profile groove (installation depth 14 mm) without tools and with a positive fit. As soon as the workpieces are joined, the pre-tensioning clip releases and the full clamping force pulls the workpiece tightly and precisely together without the need for clamps or cabinet presses.
