The Lamello® Tenso P-14 pre-tensioning clip is the perfect system accessory for equipping standard Tenso P-14 glue joints with the innovative pre-tensioning function. Inserting the clips into the connector halves mechanically pre-tensions the internal spring. This drastically reduces the force required to join the workpieces. The clip ensures effortless assembly, particularly when fitting large furniture carcasses, angled elements or components with a large number of connectors.

It is quick and easy to use: with the help of the insertion tool included in the scope of delivery, the clips are inserted into the Tenso P-14 connectors in a matter of seconds. When joining the furniture parts, a brief application of force is sufficient to trigger the snap-fit. The clip releases the clamping element, and the Tenso P-14 builds up its full clamping force of approx. 15 kg (150 N) per connector – ensuring perfectly sealed, tight glue joints without the need for screw clamps.

Instructions for use

Use the supplied insertion tool to press the pre-tensioning clip into the spring half of the Tenso P-14 connector. Slide the prepared connector into the P-System profile groove of your workpiece as usual. Once the adhesive has been applied, the components can be joined together with minimal effort. A short five-pulse sequence releases the clip, allowing the full clamping force to be applied.
