The Lamello® Tenso P-10 with pre-tensioning clip is the ideal solution for clamping-free gluing of thin panel materials and delicate workpieces. Specially developed for panel thicknesses from 12 mm (90° butt joint) and mitre joints from 15 mm, with a shallow installation depth of just 10 mm, this P-System connector enables invisible, self-clamping joints without the need for screw clamps or cabinet presses.
Thanks to the integrated pre-tensioning clip, the connector’s spring is mechanically pre-tensioned even before the parts are joined. This drastically reduces the force required to slot the workpieces together. This advantage guarantees a significant reduction in the effort required, particularly when working with long cabinet sections, angular components or a large number of connectors to be fitted simultaneously. Upon joining, the clip releases automatically, and the Tenso P-10 pulls the glue joint tightly together with high contact pressure.

Instructions for use
Using the Lamello Zeta P2 (depth setting 10) or a CNC machine, rout the P-System profile groove into both workpieces. Manually slide the Tenso P-10 connector halves, with the pre-tensioning clips inserted, sideways into the grooves. Apply wood glue to the joint and join the workpieces together. The clip mechanism noticeably reduces the assembly force and, upon engagement, releases the full clamping force to ensure a tight joint.
