The Lamello® Tenso P-10 pre-tensioning clip is the functional system accessory for the Tenso P-10 self-tensioning glue joint connector. It is fitted onto the connector half with the spring prior to assembly in order to pre-tension the spring mechanism. This noticeably reduces the resistance felt when fitting the workpieces together, which drastically simplifies the assembly process for long cabinet components, multiple joints or complex mitre cuts. Instructions for use
Before joining the furniture components, press the pre-tensioning clip onto the Tenso P-10 connector half with spring, which is seated in the profile groove. The clip holds the spring element in a pre-tensioned position. Apply the adhesive and join the workpieces together. Thanks to the pre-tensioning, the components can be slotted together with minimal effort, whereupon the spring mechanism is triggered and pulls the workpieces flush together with full clamping force.
