DetailsWith 'J' hook to securely hold a 3M Hookit disc or a 3M Finesse-it spongeUse with a random orbital sander, rotary sander or angle grinderThe 3M Hookit system offers easy removal and reuseThe polishing backing pad has a 5/16" mounting thread and holds 76.2 mm and 80 mm polishing media.DescriptionAttach a 3M Hookit sanding or finishing disc - or a 3M Finesse-it polishing disc to a variety of hand sanding tools - with the 3M Hookit backing pad. Our backing pad grips the nylon loops of the 3M Hookit discs and ensures a finer finish than discs with a self-adhesive backing. Thanks to the 3M Hookit Velcro backing, the disc can be easily attached, removed and reattached. This means it can be used repeatedly and its sanding performance is extended. The discs or plates are attached with a hook in the shape of a "J", as known from everyday hook and loop applications. Our sanding disc has a bevelled edge at an angle of 45°. This means it can be used flexibly and can sand the area to a sharp edge or blend it more easily. The Hookit system was developed for work areas where discs with a self-adhesive backing can be contaminated by dust, dirt or particles in the air.Contents1 piece
