Why DuroGrit is a strong choice for exterior timber
Many people look for a decking oil or exterior wood protection that not only looks good but also proves itself in daily use. That is exactly where Rubio Monocoat DuroGrit comes in: it protects the wood, brings out its natural structure and combines easy application with lasting durability. Because the oil stays open-pored, the coating does not crack, flake or peel the way film-forming alternatives do.

DuroGrit is available in 14 colours. The shades were developed specifically for outdoor use and combine a natural timber look with reliable protection. Depending on the wood species and the look you want, you can achieve subtle, natural or stronger exterior timber finishes.
Care and maintenance

The intervals depend on weather, orientation, geographic location, wood species and colour. As a guide, Rubio Monocoat states roughly 5 to 10 years for vertical surfaces under normal conditions, and up to 2 years for horizontal surfaces, with a visual check each year after the winter.
