3M™ Bayonet Particulate Prefilters can be attached to 3M™ Bayonet 6000 Series Gas and Vapour Filters to provide protection from certain solid and liquid particulates when used with 3M™ Bayonet Face Masks. Use the 3M™ Filter Holder 501 to attach a filter to any gas/vapour filter.

3M™ Bayonet Particulate Prefilters are used as additional particulate protection for 3M™ Bayonet Filters for gases and vapours. Interchangeable for cost savings: Designed for easy replacement, these particulate filters are a cost-effective solution without the need to replace filters. Use 3M™ Bayonet Particulate Prefilters with 3M™ Filters for Gases and Vapours and the 3M™ Filter Holder 501 to filter specific particulates such as dust, mists, fibres and metal fumes as well as a wide range of gases and vapours. You can also use these filters with the 3M™ Filter Adapter 603 and the 3M™ Filter Holder 501 to reduce particle exposure only. These filters are easy to attach and require minimal training. 3M™ Particulate Prefilters with bayonet fitting are compatible with 3M™ 6000, 6500QL, 7500 series half masks or 6000 series full face masks to help reduce inventory requirements. Protect your workforce: 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, filters, respiratory hazard and workplace contaminant filters, and filter change intervals. 3M Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your selection. After identifying the contaminants and exposure levels in the work environment, you can protect workers with a properly fitted 3M™ reusable respirator and the appropriate P2 or P3 particulate filter. 3M™ Bayonet Particulate Prefilters are CE approved as P2 or P3 particulate filters and contribute to respiratory protection in particle-laden environments when used with 3M™ Bayonet Half and Full Face Masks and additional accessories. These filters help protect the respiratory tract from contaminants. Not suitable for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or require the use of a P2 or P3 approved filter. Replace the 3M™ bayonet particle pre-filter if it is dirty, damaged or difficult to breathe.
