The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Polishing Paste + Light Removal Wax is designed to quickly remove light to medium oxidation, light scratches, holograms and other minor defects from gelcoat surfaces. This abrasive paste removes scratches (P1500 grit or finer) and produces a glossy wax finish without holograms, even on gelcoats with difficult dark colours.

The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Polishing Paste + Wax combines a polish and a protective layer in one step. The powerful chemical and mineral formula quickly and easily removes light to medium oxidation, holograms and scratches (P1500 grit and finer) for a superior gelcoat finish. This gelcoat polish provides a glossy wax finish without holograms, even on gelcoats with difficult dark colours. The product also protects the gelcoat surface from weathering. The sanding paste is suitable for surfaces that are not sensitive to silicone and retains moisture for a long time, so you can work for longer before having to apply new compound. Even at higher ambient temperatures, you need smaller quantities of product and the product can still be applied without any problems. In addition, the abrasive paste does not clog the polishing pad.
