Mirka ABRANET ® 77 mm Grip sanding discs set the global standard for modern, dust-free sanding. Thanks to the patented mesh structure comprising thousands of tiny holes, the sanding dust produced is extracted directly across the entire surface. This not only protects your health but also effectively prevents the abrasive from clogging up (so-called "pilling"). The result is a perfectly even finish and a significantly longer service life compared to conventional paper sanding discs. With a diameter of 77 mm, this variant is ideal for smaller areas, spot repair work and the sanding of curves and headlights.
Maximum service life and versatile use
The extremely durable polyamide fabric, combined with sharp aluminium oxide grit, ensures aggressive yet controlled material removal. As the backing does not have a fixed hole pattern, you do not need to worry about aligning the extraction holes when attaching it to the hook-and-loop backing pad (Grip) – simply press it on and get started straight away. Abranet is ideal for universal use on hardwood, MDF, paints, primers, fillers, as well as modern composites and plastics.

As Abranet is porous, this thin intermediate disc protects the hook-and-loop fasteners on your machine sanding pad from frictional heat and fine residual dust. Always use a connected, adjustable extraction system when sanding – the better the suction, the cooler the sanding surface remains and the better the result.
