Antisilicone ZD 385 is an additive that can be used to repair and eliminate craters or crater formation.
Craters can be caused by various factors. Examples include contamination of the paint, contamination of the work equipment (grease, silicone) and contamination by the person applying the product (hands, gloves).
Application
- To repair the crater formation, the area causing the damage must first be found and repaired for the future.
- Sand down the damaged area (in the case of slight formation only sand down and in the case of severe formation sand down to the substrate).
- Then recoat the surface with new paint material with the addition of ZD 385.
