The Festool Granat Net 80x133 mm sanding mesh strips are the perfect solution for materials that generate extremely high levels of dust. Thanks to the open mesh structure, sanding dust is extracted over the entire surface area, completely unobstructed. This ensures virtually dust-free working, protects your health and at the same time guarantees a clear view of the sanding pattern. Measuring 80 x 133 mm, these sanding grids are precisely tailored to compact sanders such as the Festool RTS 400 or Rutsch 400 and can be changed in a jiffy using the StickFix hook-and-loop system.

Anyone who frequently sands filler, plaster, primer or soft paints is familiar with the problem: conventional sandpaper clogs up within a very short time or tears at sharp edges. Not so with the Festool Granat Net. Its robust mesh structure offers extremely high tear resistance and outstanding edge stability. Because dust cannot settle on the surface in the first place, the abrasive grain remains permanently sharp. The result is a **drastically extended service life** and a consistently high material removal rate from the first to the last square centimetre.

Professional tip for maximum tool protection
As sanding nets allow dust to pass directly through the fabric, the hook-and-loop pad of your sander is exposed to greater mechanical stress without protection. We therefore strongly recommend using a Festool Protection Pad (protective pad) between the sanding pad and the sanding mesh. This acts as a sacrificial layer, protecting the fine hook-and-loop hooks on your machine from premature wear and saving you expensive replacement costs in the long term. Also adjust the suction power of your vacuum cleaner so that the machine does not stick to the surface – this ensures feather-light handling and an absolutely scratch-free finish.
Application note: For universal dry sanding in continuous commercial use. Perfectly compatible with Festool RTS 400, Rutsch 400 and all similarly constructed orbital sanders with an 80x133 mm sanding pad.
