Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C (Component A): The molecular revolution for your wood Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C (Component A) is far more than a conventional wood oil. It is a technological masterpiece that protects and colours through molecular bonding – all in a single step. As a professional craftsman or joiner, you are supplied here with the pure A-component, i.e. the base oil without added hardener. Why is this important? It offers you maximum flexibility. Whether you use the oil as a single-component (1C) product for low-traffic areas or mix it for high-performance surfaces – you retain full control over your project. ⚡ Unbeatable benefits for joiners & industry No film formation : The oil bonds molecularly with the wood fibres. The result is an extremely natural finish without a ‘plastic look’. No-streak application : Overlaps or double-coating are physically impossible, as the oil only bonds where the fibre is still exposed. Excellent coverage : Thanks to its concentration, you only need approx. 30–50 m² per litre. One coat is enough! Environment & Health : 0% VOC, certified to Eurofins Air Comfort Gold and safe for food contact. One oil – two application methods This product has exactly the same formulation as in our 2C complete set. The difference lies in how you apply it : 1. The 1C application (single-component) Ideal for vertical surfaces, decorative features or furniture subject to normal wear and tear. The oil cures on exposure to air (full load-bearing capacity after approx. 21 days). 2. The 2C application (two-component) For floors, stairs or kitchen worktops, we strongly recommend adding the B-component. Apply the oil thinly, allow it to react briefly, then polish off the excess completely with a cloth or a polishing machine (beige or white pad). The surface must not feel sticky after polishing. Natue Line (NL) hard oil protects and refines wood, stone and cork to protect surfaces from wear and tear. Thanks to its liquid consistency, the oil penetrates the surfaces extremely well. It is water-repellent and can be used well in living spaces. The treated surface is highly hard-wearing.Areas of applicationHousing construction, care sector, nurseries, schools, day care centres, offices, work surfaces, etc.. With tests in accordance with DIN 53160 (saliva and perspiration resistant) and DIN EN 71, Part 3 (toys), it is ideally suited for use on parquet, floorboards, untreated softwood and hardwood for indoor use.
